For more than three decades, Brown & Brown Builders has been creating homes throughout Northeast Ohio with a simple belief: the experience of building your home should be every bit as exceptional as the home itself. Founded by Alan Brown, the company has grown from a passion for design and craftsmanship into a trusted custom home building and renovation firm.
Today, that same hands-on approach continues. We work with a select number of clients, staying closely involved in every project and decision to ensure a thoughtful, personal building experience from start to finish.

Andrew Brown
Andrew Brown brings a combination of construction knowledge, organization, and innovation to every Brown & Brown project. With a degree in Entrepreneurship from Kent State University, he specializes in taking a client's vision from concept and blueprint through to a finished home.
His hands-on approach and attention to detail help keep each project moving smoothly while ensuring the finished product meets the high standards Brown & Brown is known for.
Operations & Client Relations
Traci Emmett
Traci Emmett brings years of experience in office management, accounting, and client relations to Brown & Brown Builders. Since joining the company in 2019, she has played an important role in keeping both the business and its projects organized and running smoothly.
From coordinating details behind the scenes to supporting clients throughout their projects, Traci helps create the thoughtful, personalized experience Brown & Brown strives to provide.

Alan Brown
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Alan Brown has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, integrity, and lasting client relationships. His dedication to quality and attention to detail have been the foundation of Brown and Brown Builders’ success and the trust the company has earned throughout Northeast Ohio.
As Alan begins to transition into a more relaxed role, he remains an important part of the company, continuing to assist with sales, client relationships, and strategic guidance. His decades of knowledge and experience provide invaluable support to the next generation, ensuring the same commitment to excellence continues for years to come.
Project Manager
CJ Briggs
CJ Briggs joined Brown & Brown Builders in 2021 after attending The Ohio State University. As a project manager, he brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to overseeing projects from the initial planning stages through completion.
CJ works closely with clients, trade partners, and the Brown & Brown team to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with the original vision.
